This camera comes with a versatile 18-55mm lens to get you shooting straight out of the box. CMOS sensor The 20 megapixel back-illuminated CMOS sensor will help the K-S2 produce incredible images. It's highly sensitive, which allows for superior image capture in low light with little noise, so you can take great shots even at night time. Optical viewfinder With a glass pentaprism optical viewfinder, checking focus and composition is easy. The 0.95x viewfinder magnification and approximate 100% viewfinder coverage means that you can shoot with focus on the subject. Weather-resistant Despite the SLR’s compact size, it features a weather-resistant and dustproof construction. This means that you’ll be able to face the elements, and still capture great memories. Vari-angle LCD monitor Perfect for shooting any frame or still – even selfies – the vari-angle screen can help to capture creativity. Reach up high, down low or straight infront of you to create moments with friends and family. Easy sharing Wi-Fi ready, the KS2 can shoot remotely and transfer or upload to social networking sites. And with NFC (Near-Field Communication), you can pair your NFC compatible smartphone by simply ‘waving’ your mobile device over the camera. In-body shake reduction (SR) Effectively reducing camera shake is the original shake reduction (SR) mechanism. Using SR with an image stabilization effect of 3.5 stops, the camera automatically applies horizontal correction for countering minute horizontal tilting that occurs when pressing the shutter button. It is also equipped with a Dust Removal (DR) cleaning function that uses high-speed SR vibration to remove dust from the image sensor. Full HD video capture The K-S2 can record Full HD movies at a frame rate of 30 frames per second, for high quality extended movie clips. 8 digital filters (such as black and white and sepia) can be applied by simply using the ‘i’ button, or enjoy creative playback features like High-speed movie mode.
