Artek Chair 69 Birch / Green

Using a distinctive L-leg design in order to attach its legs directly to the seat, the striking Chair 69 is both a design classic and a modern home staple. Its minimalist design appeals to all d'cor, with three finishes available here to complement existing furniture. One of the most significant figures of the Scandinavian modern movement, Alvar Aalto designed his Chair 69 in 1935 as a piece of minimalist furniture for the Viipuri Municipal Library, and it remains a popular classic to this day.
