The inspiration for their new range is the unique painting style of their own design studio. The unpredictable brushstrokes with differing hues and tones that change during the ink and water drying process have inspired Voyage to create their unique glass collection, expressing the same process of colour mixing and blending in molten glass. Each individual piece of this beautiful collection is hand blown by skilled artisans using the same methods practised for thousands of years. Coloured glass made from different minerals and metals are mixed during the shaping of the molten glass at a temperature above 1,800 degrees. The process of hand-blowing is highly skilled as the glass is red hot and each piece is created and manipulated by different craftsmen, creating a truly unique piece of glasswork.
