The Miele DA2906 integrated cooker hood features state-of-the-art technology including joystick control, lighting to suit all moods and high functionality in removing cooking smells. Like all Miele cooker hoods, it has an understated design style with pleasingly clean lines realised in stainless steel. Precision This cooker hood is equipped with high-quality radial fans that provide suction on two sides. These high-performance units guarantee powerful air throughput to optimise extraction. The fans operate at a comfortably low noise level. An intensive setting provides very high air flow (640m³/h) and is intended only for brief operation, for instance when heavy smoke or strong odours develop when food is burned. Booster setting An automatic fan run-on ensures the full extraction of steam and odours that are given off during cooking. This can be set to switch off automatically after 5 or 15 minutes. If incorrectly programmed, the hood will switch itself off automatically after 10 hours. User convenience A patented, ergonomic joystick allows intuitive operation. This hood can be converted from extraction to recirculation mode using a recirculation conversion kit as an optional accessory. Miele recirculation mode cooker hoods require a special filter in addition to the grease filter. A red LED indicates if any filter requires replacement or simply cleaning - grease filters can be washed in a dishwasher. Mood lighting The hood's halogen lighting can be controlled with a dimmer switch, giving you the capability to create the perfect evening ambience in your kitchen. It also has WiFi connectivity so the hood can be controlled via your phone.
