Ideal for wall-mounting in smaller kitchens, the Siemens LC97BE532B cooker hood has a stainless steel box chimney and a slimline canopy. It has an high extraction rate for 90cm-wide hobs and is relatively quiet in operation. Extraction The hood has three-stage control plus boost setting. This highest extraction rate temporarily kicks in when kitchen fumes are especially intense. The system automatically reverts to a normal setting after six minutes of high-intensity operation. On this boost setting, the hood extracts air at a rate of 730m³/h, at a noise level of 65dB. Energy rating The hood has easily removable metal grease filters that can be cleaned in the dishwasher. Energy-saving LED lighting illuminates the stove top. It has an A rating for energy efficiency. Air circulation mode The hood can be converted to run in air-circulation mode, provided there is an adequate air intake through, for instance, an air-intake/exhaust-air wall box. Siemens also makes suitable conversion kits. Air circulation operation also requires an activated carbon filter.
