The Smeg P1641X Linea Ultra Rapid Hob is a 60cm wide Natural Gas hob unit built into a streamline Stainless Steel base.This Smeg Gas Hob is a four burner model and features an extra-large Ultra Rapid burner. The gas rosettes are laid out in a Linea design with the large 'Ultra Rapid' burner positioned on the left hand side of the hob.The burners comprise one 1.05kW 'Auxiliary' burner suitable for small saucepans a 1.65kW 'Semi-Rapid' burner a 2.55kW 'Reduced Rapid' burner and a 3.6kW 'Ultra Rapid' burner for large pots and pans.The hob is supplied with a set of heavy duty Cast Iron pan supportsEach gas burner is fitted with a thermocouple 'Flame Failure' safety device this flame failure device automatically turns off the gas supply to the burner if the flame is accidentally extinguished during cooking.The Transparent rotary controls are mounted on the front edge of the hob for safety and convenience.The gas controls incorporate an automatic electronic ignition system which is ideal for one handed operation simply push and twist the control knob to ignite the burner.This Smeg Hob is supplied with 'Natural Gas' gas burner jets this hob can also be converted to operate on (Liquid Petroleum Gas) if required LPG jets are available from the manufacturer.
