The Neff T40B31X2GB is a 60cm frameless 4 zone induction hob featuring several useful features and functions including automatic pan recognition, 17 power levels for precision control and a child lock to keep wandering hands at bay. Other features include: QuickStart function: A quick and immediate start to the cooking process as the hob surface area automatically detects where the pot has been placed using intelligent inductor sensor technology. ReStart function: After an unintended switch off, all settings including the timer setting can be recalled for up to 4 seconds simply by pressing the main switch, leaving enough time to clean the surface. LED timer with switch-off function: The LED timer can be used in 2 ways: as an independent timer (that sounds a signal at the end of the cooking time) or it can also be set to automatically switch off the cooking zone at the end of the cooking time. The safety cut out facility activates if the hob has been in constant use, ensuring your cooking in a safe kitchen environment and it will even remember the same settings so you can continue with the cooking process. Note: Only use pans suitable for induction hobs. These include: enamelled steel, iron, stainless steel (depending on the alloy) and some aluminium pans with a ferromagnetic base. Glass and copper bases are unsuitable.
