Once boiled, the illumination remains red whilst the water is above 80 degrees C, preventing you from re-boiling water and wasting energy. The VKJ846 features the Breville 'Still Hot' function to alert you that the water is still above 80 degrees - the perfect temperature for coffee, plus green and herbal teas, preventing the need to re-boil your kettle and waste energy.
