Royal Doulton Olio 16cm Bowl Duck Egg

This 16cm bowl is perfect for use any time of day. Its high sides and deep basin makes it suitable for use with your morning cereals, lunch time soups and evening stews. Made from stoneware, it is dishwasher safe for added convenience. Barber & Osgerby's passion for making was apparent throughout every stage of creating the new Olio collection. The considered use of materials is essential to the collection, with exposed stoneware used as a key feature, referring to Royal Doulton's early history in manufacturing stoneware, salt-glazed clay pipes. This gives a natural variation of colour in each piece, whether in soft neutrals, terracotta or black. Inspired by hand-made ceramic pieces and objects found from all over the world, the new range is an eclectic collection of shapes and materials, from round teapots to rectangular rectangular serving boards which work harmoniously together. Combined with ceramics, there are also wooden and stainless steel pieces, creating a visually arresting palette that is distinctive but sits comfortably in many home settings.
