Mountain Equipment utilise their many years of sleeping bag experience and knowledge to ensure they build bags of the highest quality to ensure they can optimise the warmth from the lightest weight materials. From head to toe this bag is geared with features to help exploit the lightest weight materials for the most warmth. Starting with the head the Down Control 5 Hood uses 5 baffles to get an anatomically fitted hood and exceptional down control to ensure warmth and longevity. The Solus collar sits around the neck and shoulders as a down draft tube to reduce the amount of warm air escaping and cold air being let in. The trapezoid offset 30g baffles are great for stability and structure while offering maximum loft and down control. The full length zip has an anti-snag baffle that will also help reduce the amount of heat lost through the zip. At the feet, a four baffle foot piece featuring unique Bulls Eye Technology and an offset Sharks fin shape keeps feet toasty warm and restricts down migration whilst keeping weight and bulk to a minimum. The shell of the bag is also made from the Helium 30 fabric which is water resistant and will help protect the down in damp conditions.
