A robust and versatile boot designed for high-alpine mountaineering in extreme terrain and for ice climbing. The Men's Sirius II GTX Boot is ideal for demanding glaciers, ice and firn. Fewer seams reduce the risk of rubbing and pressure points as Hanwag uses a special technique, which makes it possible to reduce the number of seams. It might sound simple, but it involves very complex craftsmanship. The boot has a crampon compatible sole construction, which is also suitable for automatic step-in crampons for serious mountaineering and ice climbing. Clamping eyelets enable different lacing tensions at the fore-/mid foot and around the ankle (2-zone lacing), just what you need in challenging environments where footing is paramount. With the added bonus of -15°c insulation in the upper and sole unit you will be prepared to battle the mountain.
