The Women's Rebel Lite GTX offers a lighter form of Scarpa's elite climbing boot for those looking for a hybrid that will not only walk well but also climb, scramble, via ferrata and take the occasional use of a crampon for a summit dash or glacier crossing.With the Sock-Fit construction, the tongue, flex-point and collar are made from a single ergonomically shaped piece of Schoeler S-Tech, an elastic technical fabric, that wraps around your foot and squeezes the volume out of the boot for a snug fit. The Flex Point System allows your ankle complete freedom of movement, even in this stiff boot, whilst maintaining support and confidence on all terrains. The NAG last provides all day comfort and places the foot in a toe central position that makes the boot climb really well. The Gore-Tex Performance Comfort lining is durably waterproof and breathable, keeping your feet comfortable and dry in a wide range of conditions and on the most testing terrain.The Re-Active XT sole is constructed using a low-density PU material for cushioning under the heel and across the forefoot, with medium-density inserts at the arch and behind the toe for support and propulsion, and a high-density area with a TPU ledge behind the heel to hold a crampon. The result is a sole that is light and reactive on all terrain, and that solidly supports a crampon while absorbing shock at the point your foot hits the ground. It is also suitable for semi-automatic crampons. Underneath, the Mulaz outsole provides the grip you’d expect from Vibram.
