The Pertex Shield+, 2.5-layer fabric is ultra-light, yet waterproof and breathable. The details are kept to just what's necessary, and the fit is athletic with a dropped rear hem for coverage while reaching overhead while climbing.Pertex Shield+ provides a high level of wind and water protection with excellent breathability for lightweight performance during fast moving athletic pursuits. The helmet-compatible hood has a bonded brim to help protect your face from the weather; fit can be refined via a one-hand cinch system at center back. Seams are placed away from shoulder tops and hips to avoid chafing under your pack straps, pack belt, or climbing harness.
