The Women's Alpine Pro Jacket from Montane is a highly capable jacket for exploring the outdoors in winter conditions, offering excellent versatility in a lightweight, ergonomical design. It is fully waterproof and breathable thanks to the Gore-Tex Pro membrane which slides easily over other layers. It is well articulated to create a flattering fit that is also practical, the technical tailoring around the arms helps to prevent hem lift when reaching up high. This is particularly great when you need to maintain maximum coverage from the elements when on steep or tricky terrain that is exposed. The gusseted cuffs are hook and loop adjustable to allow them to sit comfortably over winter gloves before cinching in around the wrist for maximum protection. The tall collar at the front of the jacket offers extra protection for your face and will allow you to cinch in the hood to just around your eyes in particularly bad conditions. The adjustable hem of the jacket can be cinched in to further protect from the elements while the pit zip ventilation on the jacket allows you to dump any excess heat while on the move and still benefitting from great protection.The High Mountain fit of the jacket is tailored so as not to cause too much billowing in windy conditions but it is still generous enough to use with plenty of insulation underneath making it ideal for harsh winter conditions.
