KETTLER Sport Skylon S Cross Trainer

The Skylon S cross trainer is one of Kettler's highest spec ellipticals. It allows training management, control and evaluation via a smartphone. The smartphone acts both as a display as well as an input device with a height adjustable training computer on the Kettler S that's divided into two areas. The upper part has a non-slip base for your smartphone to rest on and the lower part of the training computer has a touch-sensitive control panel with two integrated glass LCD display windows. In these windows RPM, wattage, cadence/time and pulse is displayed. Without a smartphone you can connect to all the elementary functions through the lower touch screen. These include induction brake resistance in 5 watt increments within a 25-400 watt range and heart rate control through the unique Pulse Hold function. With Pulse Hold you can set a heart rate training zone and the electronics of the Kettler Skylon S regulates the resistance so that you stay within this training zone. Pulse is monitored by the Polar chest strap included. When used in conjunction with a smartphone, you get the full power and functionality of the Kettler Skylon S. Download the free Kettler S-Fit app and a whole world of fun awaits. You can choose from an infinite number of programmes, whether ‘Fun’, ‘Challenge’ or ‘Expert’ is more tailored to your capability. Once your training is complete, you can upload your training data to the ‘Kettfit’ website, and track your improvement over time. You can even break down your workouts into graphs. Connect to a PC via the Bluetooth Interface and you can then use Kettler World Tours software (additional). This software enables you to race against online users over your own designed course by simply plotting in the GPS data. It uses 3D imagery to make it look realistic. Whether you want to race a specific leg of the Tour, or gently cycle the same route you took on holiday, it’s available for you when you want it.
