The BIONZ X image processing engine achieves more realistic and vivid image quality. A choice of built in ND filters adjust light levels and let you precisely control shutter speed and aperture for greater creative possibilities. Manual Controls Take full control of your recordings with manual controls. Easily adjust the aperture, ISO and shutter speed by using the dial and buttons conveniently placed on the sid of the AX100. 12x optical zoom Smoothly adjust your focus or zoom with the lens ring. The ZEISS lens provides up to 12x optical zoom and up to 24x Clear Image Zoom to let you easily capture clear images of far-away subjects and allow wide-ranging image expression. 29mm wide angle The wide shooting range expands the breadth of photographic expression, and is ideal for shooting gorgeous scenery and grand landscapes. HD movie playback The FDR-AX100 supports high-frame-rate shooting at HD image quality, and when post-processing is applied allows slow-motion playback at one-fifth the speed in a 24p environment. HD footage can be viewed in its full splendor on an HD TV, and if you don't have a 4k monitor, your 4k footage will be downgraded to a high quality 2k format when viewed on your HD TV. If you only want to display a particular section of a movie on the monitor or TV, you can trim it down on the touch display panel. My Voice Cancelling This feature significantly reduces the intensity of your voice as you shoot, while maintaining the volume of your subject's voice and other ambient noise. by suppressing sound coming from behind the camcorder.
